Chowpattyrecently the United States. In addition to his many years of experience in restaurant and hospitality industry, master chef Nirman Shah has a degree in “Hotel Administration and Food Technology”.
His most notable work experience was at the prestigious Taj Mahal Hotel (Rambagh Palace, Jaipur) with a rare specialization in Indian / Maharaja Cuisine. Before arriving in US, master chef Nirman shah earned his accolades working as a chef at the famous Rambagh Palace Hotel in Jaipur, India—a former residence of Maharaja of Jaipur.
Chef Nirman has designed, developed and introduced many new indian food concepts such as “Bombay Pav”, “Bombay Khana Bazar”, and “Masala Restaurant Hyderabadi Cuisine”, Kurrywallah, Chowpattychat Company and Kurrywallah 2. Previously, he owned his own restaurant in New Jersey, before settling down in Houston. He further opened the first Hot Breads chain store in the US, located in New Jersey. In a nutshell, Nirman Shah and his single-minded determination to achieve his goals, epitomize the old saying: “A man with a dream will not be denied.”
Restaurant timings are Monday to Sunday, 11.00am to 9.00 pm. chowpatty Chat Co is closed on Tuesdays.
